In which I, again, post about Hunger Games :)

I found this video at rockstar diaries. It is rather cute! <3 And I rather love this little girls hair! :)

On a side note I am quite, as you might put it, obsessed with the Hunger Games. Safe and Sound is one of my fav songs from the album.

This is my cover of Safe and Sound, not the best, mind you. (I have a rudimentary knowledge of basic guitar chords)

Taylor Swift also does a song called Eyes Open. It totally describes the plot line.

I may actually have a new favourite artist... The Civil Wars. They feature on Safe and Sound but also have a song on the album, Kingdom Come.

Just a Game by Birdy is really pretty, and sad at the same time, and she's just younger than I am. (Turns 16 in May)

I think that is all... (Posting pics of my scooter soon!!)

Hunger Games and the bed that moved...

I watched Hunger Games last night!! AHHH!! There are no words to describe the amazing-ness that is Hunger Games! As I mentioned before I went with the besties. And you know, teenagers and cinemas pretty much means popcorn and Skittles flying everywhere. And the manager was patrolling... :)

It's the Father's birthday today. I shall not disclose his age, but I'll tell you he is rather old. :p

The bestie
I still don't like cheese

Photo shoot with the bestie

My life every morning
It was getting rather hot

My glasses are upside down, I know
Mary Poppins is in Perth!

The dog

All of this came off my bottom bed and desk

I moved it pretty much all by myself

My sister is a kook
The new position of my desk

Note the Hunger Games poster...?

And I rearranged my room. So my desk and bottom bed have swapped positions. And my bed has all the stuff off the desk on it. I wonder where I shall sleep tonight... :p

Hunger Games and other nonsense...

Hey guys!

Jenna, my best bestie
Dune. a bestie

Hunger Games is out tonight! I am currently obsessing over the soundtrack over at Mr. Taylor and his Lady! I'm going out with the besties tonight to go see it! I can actually proudly say that I have read all three books! Cannot wait!

I had already prepared this post in my head through today but nothing is coming out... :(

Us three are cute, are we not?
Angry Birds
Sorry about the lack of posting this week. My brain kinda got fried.

Rage face!

At the school one of the kids just dissapeared. So we had to look for him. Goodness me, we looked everywhere and he was still in the playground area! I felt ready to punch him in the face. But obviously we, as teachers, are not allowed to do that...

Oh well.

He love me, and you!

I just quickly wanted to share this with you...

I'm now a representative of Speak Now (check it out over at The Ellie Life) and I was just reading her blog. And she posted about helping at Sunday school and kids coming up to her after she taught about Jesus dying on the cross and they said that they learned that Jesus loved them. I'll put it in her exact terms

"At snack time before the loves go home with mom and dad I asked them what they were thankful for.
Then I asked them what they learned today.

They turned to me and one by one
'I learned that Jesus loves ME.'

Today, I taught a lesson on the death of Jesus.
Nothing on Jesus's love.
So I stood there, goldfish crackers in one hand, staring at these seven littles who were all staring right back at me. 'Yes loves, you are right. Jesus does love you. & I am SO proud of you for learning that today.'"

Jesus loves me! HE LOVES ME! ME, most possibly the worst sinner in the world! ME! ME! ME! Jesus loves me! I always forget this! But He LOVES ME, AND YOU! AND your really annoying brother/sister AND  your mum who won't let you go out on a Sunday night even though you really REALLY want to AND you dad who's too busy working to notice that you're going through a really REALLY tough time and have no-one around to support you.
  JESUS LOVES YOU!

I kinda stole my besties panda hat for the weekend! Do you not love the glasses I gave it! 3D glasses from the cimenas!

Anyone else counting down the days til The Hunger Games comes out? I am! 4ish days! 8pm Thursday night is a go! Hunger Games, here I come! Jennifer Lawrence, you better not mess this up! Liam Hensworth, make Australia proud! And Josh Hutcherson, I loved you in Bridge to Teribitha, don't mess it up, m'dear! (One of the only crush-worthy guys in Hollywood!)

Oh, and sorry about the lack of posting I just could not be bothered... :( <3 ya guys!

Keep on keeping on,

DIY: Friendship bracelet

DIY post again...
I kinda got sun burnt rather badly on my back

"What was that?" you say, "A DIY post?! No way! Sarah can't be posting on a Wednesday"

"Oh yes," I say, "Here it comes. I have no school"

I decided to make a friendship bracelet with a charm thing I had on my necklace, which was wrecking my cross pendant. >_< Anyways, here goes.

You will need:
3 strands of whatever wire is at hand (I used bronze)
Some beads that will fit onto the three strands of wire
A friendship charm or alphabet letters
Wire cutters
Tape (I didn't use anyway, you may need to)

What to do:

  1. Cut three strands of wire to fit around you wrist. They should be relavtively the same length
  2. Tape the wire to a flat surface and twist the three strands of wire together (I twisted them, you can plait them)
  3.  Thread on the charm/alphabet beads.
  4. Add the other beads in whatever order (I did a pattern coz I am rather OCD)
  5. Put it on your wrist and TA-DAH! a friendship bracelet. Now make one for your bestie!

Guest post by Stella from Tease Your Toes

Hi there, my name is Stella and I blog over at Tease Your Toes. I'm from the Philippines. I own two cats, I don't drink soda, and I am in love with anything vintage--let it be fashion, culture, music and technology! I'm a girl of opposites, too. Today I could be really loud, and tomorrow I could be so quiet you won't think it's real. Today I could love bright, vibrant colors and later choose to like neutral shades of brown and beige! Now, sometimes, I can get kinda moody and then really settle.. Sometimes, I can get playful then later become elegant.

Sometimes, I get stuck in life and wonder where I am. Sometimes I forget that God's there to help me and guide me through my own path of life that He designed for me. I worry a lot. Where will I be 10 years from now? Will I get good education? Who will I marry? I know I'm not the only one, but I want to have a good life that involves God. I believe that God wants me to have a prosperous and healthy lifestyle. God wants the best for me.

However there are times when I feel as if I lack reassurance of God's love and guidance. That's why there's the bible. The bible is the answer to our problems.

In JEREMIAH 29:11, it says:

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Proverbs 3:5-6 also says:
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take."
God loves me. God loves you. God wants us to go on the right path of life. He wants us to enjoy life and have fun. He wants us to prosper, and live with him in Heaven forever. So a little mental note for you and for me: when we're stuck about our future; our hopes and dreams, God is the best teacher and adviser to "consult" to! When we find God and understand his love for us, we won't be stuck anymore. We are His. He is ours. He is God.

Have a happy, blessed, and God-love filled week!
Stella
